Greg and Fred hiked Cherry Mtn. (3563-ft; White Mountains, NH) for sunset in early October 2002. We took the Cherry Mountain Trail to the primary peak -- Mt. Martha (2563-ft) -- and then Martha's Mile over to the secondary peak -- Owl's Head (3258-ft). Sunset brought beautiful color to the sky behind the silhouette of Mt. Martha's ridge, as seen from the fine outlook on Owl's Head.
