| This tiny slime mold is Wolf's Milk Slime (Lycogala epidendrum), also called Toothpaste Slime. If broken when young it exudes a milky pink paste, hence the common names. It builds a beautifully textured surface (hard to see in this photo) as it fruits on well-rotted wood. |
