| To the east, Wildcat Ridge (with the ski area to the right) is silhouetted beneath sunset glow and its own local cloud. We hike up Boott Spur Trail in the afternoon, then down Boott Spur Link and Tuckerman Ravine Trail by headlamp. Without moonlight, we have to pick our way carefully above treeline from cairn to cairn. |
