We are atop Bondcliff around midnight, where the moon peeks through fast-moving clouds (that's a long-exposure cloud-flow photo!).

Occasionally we hiked in fog, with backscatter from our headlamps making it hard to see our feet.

For about an hour between moonset and sunrise it was pitch black.

Unfortunately, local cloud/fog obscured both sunset and sunrise.
