Betty Lou and Fred visited Biddeford Pool Beach (south coastal Maine) in February 2009.

Today the beach features storm-trashed lobster-pot flotsam in front of a modern-design beach house.

It's too cold and windy for any beach goers besides us well-dressed winter walkers.
