| The backside of Balsams Hotel is under major reconstruction. Because of the closed hotel, the viewpoint atop Abeniki's subpeak is disappointingly overgrown. I bushwhack to the main peak in search of a viewpoint there, but am also disappointed. Hopefully the hotel will come back to life and this hike will be more fun. |
