This original orchid photo has blemishes that were fixed using Photoshop, thus transforming a mediocre photo into a good one.
The Photoshop optimizations incude:
1. Correcting color balance (getting rid of the yellow color cast).
2. Increasing exposure (brightening the slightly-underexposed image).
3. Removing display props (cutting out ugly strings, wires and signs).
4. Healing foliage spots (restoring the flower's appearance to like-new).
