I visited Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve (Buffalo's Backyard Wilderness)
in September 2021.
Here is my hiking GPS track (2 1/2 miles, 30 feet, 1 hour).
Dr Reinstein purchased this land in 1932 and donated it to the state in 1986. In between, he planted 30,000 trees, constructed 19 ponds and marshes, and added a network of gravel roads. Pretty neat! |
