| Here's another scary spot, the upper spiral staircase inside the watchtower at Tournai. The straight-down rope on the right is the full extent of railings. That's my sandal toe in photo lower left as I descend, holding on for dear life. (I'm pretty sure this is a "no passing" zone.) |
