| At the Brussels airport on the way home I see this painting entitled People Moving to the Truth by Rudi Pillen (1999). I think this represents one of the finest aspects of Belgium culture for me: their multilingual (there are three official languages here: French, Flemish and German) position in the center of Europe encourages tolerance and international cooperation. |
