a hot-air balloon gets a blast of heat while still lying on the ground in preparation for launch in New Mexico

Even more spectacular is this all-american balloon getting its first blast of heat while still lying sideways on the ground. The spectator in front of me (lower left) has a duplicate copy of my photo showing on his viewscreen.
